Encounters Zone

In different parts of the world, the never ending and high powered talks on conflict resolution, signing of peace pact deals, ceasefires are all going on in an effort to giving world peace a chance. The big question is, have these very well meant acts stood the test of time? In my simple mind I tend to think that somewhere along the way we lost out on some crucial standing points and maybe points that seem so harmless and minute that in due course were overshadowed by the growth and complexities of civilization. We hear from time to time of new   Scientific innovations and discoveries; stringent checks and balances for economical and security measures and if you have the concept of a village as I do it becomes interesting that the world where we live in has become a global village. Again with all these very highly intelligent innovations, where are human beings headed to?
